Requirements
The role involves maintenance fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment, including systematic strip down and re-building of components like cranes, winches, pumps, compressors, valves, and machine tools. Responsibilities include ensuring necessary spare parts are available to minimize downtime, performing maintenance and repair of specific equipment like syncrolifts and shiplifts, and installation of mechanical plants. The position also requires maintaining good working relationships, potentially performing Foreman duties, ensuring material quality, and working within allocated timescales. Attendance at training sessions and maintaining good housekeeping are also expected.
