Position: UltrasonographerLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeA reputable healthcare organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Ultrasonographer to join its team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine ultrasound examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols and best-practice standards.Review patient referrals, verify patient identity, obtain relevant clinical history, and ensure appropriate consent.Produce high-quality diagnostic images and accurately document sonographic observations for radiologist review.Recognize normal and abnormal sonographic appearances and escalate uncertain or unexpected findings when required.Maintain accurate documentation and image archiving using RIS/PACS and electronic medical record systems.Provide professional, patient-centered care by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.Conduct routine equipment checks and support ultrasound quality assurance procedures.Ensure compliance with infection control, health and safety, and ultrasound safety standards.Participate in training, competency development, and continuous professional development activities.Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, referring clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.Participate in on-call, extended hours, or weekend duties as required.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Radiography, Radiology Technology, Medical Imaging, or related field, with a post-primary Certificate or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound of at least 12 months.Alternatively, a degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography is preferred.Valid DHA License as a Radiology Technologist is required.Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Minimum 2 years of experience in Sonography or a related field.Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.Experience using electronic medical record systems and digital imaging platforms such as RIS/PACS.Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Arabic language skills are an advantage.
