Requirements
Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) with board certification (Arab Board in Psychiatry; European Board/CCT/CESR or equivalent; American Board of Psychiatry) from a recognized institution. Minimum of 10–12+ years post-specialization experience. Bilingual in both Arabic and EnglishRecognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry with appropriate specialization in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.Relevant clinical experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.Strong experience managing children and adolescents with complex psychiatric and behavioral conditions.Valid eligibility or ability to obtain the required Kuwait medical license.Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and confidentiality.

SearchPlus HR is Hiring – Child & Adolescent PsychiatristPosition: Child & Adolescent PsychiatristLocation: KuwaitEmployment Type: Full-TimeSector: Healthcare / Mental HealthJob DescriptionSearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced and compassionate Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility in Kuwait.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of behavioral, emotional, developmental, and psychiatric conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of children and adolescents.Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral conditions.Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs.Provide evidence-based pharmacological and psychological treatment.Manage conditions including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other developmental and psychiatric disorders.Work closely with parents and caregivers and provide appropriate psychoeducation and guidance.Monitor treatment response and make adjustments where clinically appropriate.Collaborate with psychologists, pediatricians, therapists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate, confidential, and comprehensive medical records.Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.Promote early identification, intervention, and prevention of mental health disorders in children and adolescents.
