Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.Experience in kitchen and custom furniture design is preferred.Proficiency in relevant design software such as Kitchen Draw, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or 3ds Max.Good understanding of furniture manufacturing, materials, hardware, and production processes.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to translate client needs into practical and attractive design solutions.
Description
We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in kitchens and custom-made furniture, including dressing rooms, bedrooms, and bathroom vanities.The Design Engineer will be responsible for transforming site measurements and client requirements into functional, practical, and visually appealing designs, while considering all technical and manufacturing requirements.Key Responsibilities:Review site measurements and technical survey details collected from the client’s location.Develop kitchen, dressing room, bedroom, and bathroom vanity designs based on available space, client requirements, and the designer’s creative vision.Prepare 2D and 3D designs and presentations for client review and approval.Ensure that all designs consider functionality, dimensions, ergonomics, materials, fittings, appliances, and technical constraints.Make design modifications based on client feedback while maintaining technical feasibility.Prepare accurate production drawings and Cutting Lists after final design approval.Coordinate with the factory and production team to ensure designs are ready for manufacturing.Provide technical clarification to the production and installation teams when required.Ensure accuracy between approved designs, measurements, and production documents.
