Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose, stage and manage solid tumours and selected haematologic malignancies according to clinical scope.
Prescribe chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and supportive oncology treatments safely.
Lead patient discussions on treatment goals, prognosis, toxicity, fertility and survivorship.
Participate in tumour boards with surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology and palliative care.
Monitor treatment response, manage complications and coordinate follow-up care.
Support oncology protocols, clinical governance, medication safety and quality improvement.
