Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. Essential skills include a good understanding of bookkeeping, General Ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing, along with proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Experience in intercompany and shareholder account reconciliation is preferred, and knowledge of UAE VAT would be advantageous.

ACCOUNTANTDepartment:Finance & AccountsLocation:Abu Dhabi, UAEWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, managing reconciliations, supporting monthly closing activities, and ensuring the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESShareholder Accounts: Maintain shareholder accounts, recording transactions and ensuring accurate, up-to-date balances.Alaan Card Management: Record and reconcile Alaan Card transactions, maintain supporting documentation, and monitor outstanding items.Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform intercompany account reconciliations, ensuring balances are accurately recorded and matched between entities.Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries in the accounting system.Month-End Closing: Assist in monthly closing activities, including posting entries, reviewing ledger balances, and completing account reconciliations.General Ledger: Maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) accounts and supporting schedules.Additional Support: Assist the Senior Accountant / Finance Manager with other accounting and reporting requirements as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.Good understanding of bookkeeping, General Ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.Experience in intercompany and shareholder account reconciliation is preferred.Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.UAE VAT knowledge would be an advantage.KEY COMPETENCIES• Accuracy• Reconciliation• Bookkeeping• Analytical Thinking• Time Management• Attention to Detail• Accountability• Teamwork
