Job DescriptionWood is currently recruiting for Lead Material and Corrosion Engineer under ADNOC Offshore US LTPD project.ResponsibilitiesJob ObjectiveProvide technical expertise in all Materials and Corrosion Oversees material selection, corrosion control, and integrity management ensuring compliance with international standards (API, ASME, DNV) and ADNOC standards Conducting RBI, auditing EPC contractor deliverables, and managing cathodic protection/coatings Perform regular and timely technical reviews of contractors, ensuring quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices. ResponsibilitiesPrepare/review Material Selection Diagrams (MSD), Material Selection Reports (MSR), and Piping Material Specifications Develop Corrosion Management Plans (CMP), Integrity Operating Windows (IOW), and conduct corrosion modeling (e.g., ECE software). Review and approve EPC contractor deliverables, Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and Non-Material Requirements (NMR) Ensure compliance with ASME, API (579, 571), BS 7910, DNV, and ADNOC standards Conduct risk assessment workshops (HAZOP/HAZID), RBI, and troubleshoot site-specific corrosion issues Provide expertise in coatings, painting, insulation, and cathodic protection Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects. Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops. Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers. Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation, and performance evaluation. Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning & commissioning Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in Company's Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department Interface regularly with Contractor's and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 15+ years of experience, predominantly in the oil and gas upstream offshore industry, working for competitor organizations such as Kent, KBR, Worley, Petrofac, and SaipemPMC experience is highly preferableLarge-project experience is a must, with Middle East / GCC experience on projects involving clients such as Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, PDO, etcExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent technical team management and interpersonal skillsExperience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standardsKnowledge of engineering computer programs and general business softwareAbility to make independent decisions in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities to develop solutions to complex problemsAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting, engineering and operations for the energy and materials sectors.
