Requirements
Minimum Requirements :Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Welding / Materials / Electricals / Instrumentation engineering discipline (or equivalent)Minimum 5-10+ years in vendor inspections in oil & gas / petrochemical / power / heavy fabrication environment; prior exposure to Saudi Aramco projects is strongly preferredMust hold an Aramco “approved vendor inspector / VID” status with valid QM codesHaving Aramco Approvals QM26 (mandatory), QM30 (mandatory), QM27, QM31. Certifications :Pass Aramco CBT (Competency Based Test) - NDT certification (Level II / III) in relevant methods (PT, MT, UT, RT) - Welding Inspector Certification (e.g. CSWIP / AWS / equivalent) - API/ASME / code qualifications depending on department (e.g. API 650, API 620, ASME Section V / IX)Technical Knowledge :Strong knowledge of welding, metallurgy, heat treatment, materials testing, codes & standards (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM), inspection methods, non-destructive testing techniques, fabrication processes, etc.
