Requirements
Requirements include a 4-year Civil/Structural Bachelor's degree (master's desirable) and a Registered Professional Engineer (PE). 10+ years of structural design experience in industrial steel structures is required, with strong STAAD or equivalent software proficiency, AutoCAD (Revit desirable), and knowledge of US steel design codes and seismic design. Responsibilities include design development, analysis, coordination, bid evaluation, and on-site inspections. Hybrid role with 3 days/week in Greenville, SC; authorization to work in the US without sponsorship is required; local candidates preferred; relocation assistance is not provided.
Description
Wood is currently seeking for a Lead Structural Engineer reporting to the Manager of Civil/Structural Department in our Greenville, SC office. This will be a hybrid role, with the expectation of 3 days per week worked in our Greenville office.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required. Local candidates preferred, as there is no relocation assistance included.
