We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our in-house Design & Technical team and lead the architectural technical delivery during the construction phase.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing and coordinating architectural shop drawings, ensuring compliance with contract documents, project specifications, authority requirements, and site execution needs for high-rise, mixed-use, residential, commercial, and hospitality developments across the UAE.RequirementsArchitectural Technical DeliveryLead the preparation, review, and coordination of architectural shop drawings for construction projectsDevelop detailed architectural drawings suitable for construction, fabrication, and site executionPrepare architectural drawings, technical specifications, schedules, reports, and design documentation in accordance with project requirements. Ensure all architectural designs comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, accessibility requirements, and applicable international standardsProduce and manage BIM models in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company standardsResolve design clashes through BIM coordination and participate in clash detection workshopsReview IFC drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies and proposing practical construction solutionsParticipate in value engineering and design optimization exercises to improve functionality, buildability, sustainability, and project cost efficiencyIdentify design risks and propose practical architectural solutionsTechnical CoordinationCoordinate architectural designs with Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior Design, Façade, and Infrastructure disciplines to ensure seamless project integrationReview specialist consultant drawings, shop drawings, BIM models, and technical submissions for compliance, coordination, and constructabilityProvide technical support to project teams by resolving RFIs, technical queries, material approvals, and site-related architectural issuesParticipate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings, technical workshops, and design review sessionsProject DeliveryDeliver assigned shop drawing packages in accordance with project schedules and quality standardsMonitor progress of architectural draftsmen and ensure alignment with project milestonesAssist in reviewing contractor proposals, material submissions, mock-ups, and architectural methodologies where requiredSupport the successful delivery of residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and high-rise developments throughout all project phasesQuality & ComplianceEnsure all architectural deliverables comply with company standards, authority regulations, project specifications, and international best practicesReview drawings, BIM models, technical documentation, and material specifications prior to submissionPromote design quality, consistency, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Design & Technical DepartmentConstruction SupportProvide architectural support throughout the construction phase by reviewing site conditions and resolving technical issues while maintaining design intentConduct periodic site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, materials, and workmanshipAssist in resolving NCRs and architectural deficiencies through practical and timely solutionsCollaboration & MentoringWork closely with the Technical Manager, Structural Engineers, MEP Engineers, BIM Coordinators, Project Managers, PMC teams, and Construction teamsMentor junior architects and BIM designers by providing technical guidance and reviewing their workPromote collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence across multidisciplinary teamsQualificationsBachelor's degree in architecture.Master's degree in architecture is an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 10-15 years of architectural design experienceMinimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experienceProven experience in the design and delivery of high-rise, residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developmentsExperience working within a real estate developer, or contracting company,Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of architectural design principles, detailing, construction methodologies, and building systemsThorough understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, accessibility requirements, and international architectural standardsExpert proficiency in Revit, Advanced proficiency in AutoCADStrong knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and workflowsExperience with BIM coordination tools such as NavisworksGood understanding of common data environments (ACC/BIM 360 or similar platforms)Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsBenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePerformance BonusAnnual air ticket allowance Why Join IRTH GroupAt IRTH Group, we're not just a company; we're a family committed to building a brighter future together.
