An engineering, architecture, or quantity surveying background
Confident reading floor plans and door schedules
Working knowledge of CAD and Revit (3D modelling not required)

This is a rare opportunity for a technically-minded professional to specialize in a niche, high-demand discipline — one that has quietly supported some of Dubai's most recognizable buildings.The RoleAs an Estimator, you'll take a project's floor plans, door schedules, and Fire Life Safety (FLS) drawings, and translate them into a preliminary hardware schedule — a detailed, technical exercise that sits at the intersection of architecture, life safety, and precision documentation. You'll then produce the final schedule using our in-house software.What you'll be doing:Reading floor plans to identify and locate every door, and interpreting door schedules to understand each door's parametersReading FLS drawings to identify escape routes and understanding how FLS requirements shape the hardware specification for each door on that routeCross-referencing floor plans, door schedules, and FLS data to build accurate, preliminary hardware (ironmongery) schedulesEntering finalised data into our bespoke software to generate project hardware schedules
