Description

Distribution associates are required to learn and perform multiple functions within the warehouse. These functions include but are not limited to: picking and packing finished goods, loading outbound trailers, and other duties assigned by the Leadership team. All duties require 100% accuracy in performance.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner and powered industrial equipment while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and precision.
  • Perform computer-based tasks to support order fulfillment and inventory movement.
  • Work cooperatively in a team environment, including during high‑demand periods, and communicate clearly with leaders and peers.
  • Pack customer orders according to specific requirements, including special markings, pallet configurations, and product handling needs.
  • Retrieve, transport, and stage materials according to daily work schedules, which may include loading finished goods into outbound trailers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all housekeeping expectations daily.
  • Safely operate equipment such as fork trucks, stock pickers, pallet jacks, turret trucks, and reach trucks after successful completion of required training.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support distribution center operations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Strong self‑motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic math skills to support order accuracy and documentation.
  • Completion and successful passage of Emerson‑required training for powered industrial equipment, including but not limited to fork trucks, stock pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
  • Comfort working at heights up to 20 feet while wearing approved fall‑protection equipment.
  • Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and stand or walk on concrete for 8+ hours.
