Personal Specifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in inbound logistics or warehouse operations.• Skills:• Strong communication and coordination skills.• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office tools.• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.• Familiarity with customs clearance and transportation documentation (if importing).• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Description
Coordinate and manage the inbound shipments of raw materials, packaging, and other goods.• Ensure timely unloading and inspection of goods upon arrival.• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by cross-checking against purchase orders and delivery notes.• Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to track and resolve any delays or discrepancies.• Ensure all inbound materials meet company quality standards before storage.• Update inventory records and ensure correct data entry into ERP or warehouse management systems.• Maintain communication with procurement, warehouse, and production teams for efficient stock handling.• Monitor and report on inbound logistics KPIs, including lead time, delivery accuracy, and cost efficiency.• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during unloading and storage.• Coordinate returns or rejections of non-conforming goods with suppliers.
