Job DescriptionAbout Wynn Al Marjan Island:Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.About The PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Instructor to join the Culinary Academy team.ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: Deliver practical culinary training sessions, demonstrations, and workshops aligned with academy curriculum, lesson plans, and competency standards. Coach and mentor learners to develop technical skills, product knowledge, kitchen discipline, organization, and professional behaviors. Prepare and continuously improve recipes, training materials, lesson plans, assessments, checklists, and learner resources. Assess learner performance through practical evaluations, observations, and competency tracking, providing timely and constructive feedback. Identify learners requiring additional support and escalate development concerns or progression risks when necessary. Support training across all skill levels, covering culinary techniques, food safety, equipment use, product handling, and operational readiness. Maintain a safe, hygienic, organized training environment while ensuring compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergen, and health and safety standards. Manage training records, resources, stock control, and stakeholder coordination while contributing to curriculum improvements, academy events, and learner success. About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum 7–10 years progressive culinary experience at Chef De Partie or above, in luxury hospitality, resort operations, premium restaurants, or culinary education, with fine dining restaurant experience considered a strong advantage. A formal culinary qualification from a recognized institution. Previous experience delivering practical training, mentoring junior chefs, apprentices, trainees, or culinary students. Confidence in demonstrating classical and contemporary culinary techniques to mixed-ability learners. Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen controls, kitchen risk awareness, and safe equipment operation. A patient, disciplined, approachable, and supportive training style, with the ability to maintain high standards while encouraging learner confidence. Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prepare sessions, manage resources, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
