Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent, or an Associate Degree from North America with national exam passing. Must have a valid national license and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-qualification in Interventional Radiology is required, with specific experience in vascular access, angiography, angioplasty, embolization, biopsy procedures, sedation, patient monitoring, and contrast media management. ACLS and PALS certifications are desired.
Description

Understands, supports and promotes the mission, vision and values of Organization. Provides age appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the regulatory body. Adheres to and promotes the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi. Promotion of health and delivery of health education.

Licensure:

  • Valid DOH RN License .

 

Experience: 

  • NLT 2 years clinical experience post qualification as Intervention Radiology Nurse
  • Vascular access procedures
  • Angiography and angioplasty
  • Embolization procedures
  • Biopsy procedures
  • Sedation and patient monitoring
  • Contrast media administration and management of reactions
  • Ability to assess and stabilize patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Experience in recovery and post-procedure care.
