We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of endocrine disorders in infants, children, and adolescents while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric endocrine disorders, including:
Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Growth disorders and short stature
Thyroid disorders
Adrenal and pituitary disorders
Pubertal disorders
Obesity and metabolic disorders
Calcium and bone metabolism disorders
Disorders of sexual development
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Interpret endocrine laboratory investigations, imaging, and dynamic hormone testing.
Manage insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and advanced diabetes care where applicable.
Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding disease management and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME).
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical governance, and patient safety standards.
Supervise and mentor junior physicians and contribute to teaching and research activities where applicable.
Qualifications & requirements
MBBS/MD with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
Fellowship or board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology (or equivalent recognized consultant qualification).
Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at the consultant level.
Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant license. Candidates eligible for licensing are encouraged to apply.
Expertise in managing complex pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred candidate profile
Experience working in internationally accredited children's hospitals or tertiary care centers.

UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
