A background in network operations, strong knowledge of protocols like MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, and DHCP are required. Expertise in scripting or automation, with Python preferred, and experience with data center design are necessary. Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and SSL, along with experience in network monitoring, telemetry, modeling, and programming (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF) are also key requirements. Excellent organizational, communication, and judgment skills are expected. Participation in an on-call rotation is also part of the role.

As OCI is a cloud-based network with a global footprint, this support will include hundreds of thousands of network devices supporting millions of servers, connected over a mix of dedicated backbone infrastructure, CLos Network, and the Internet.
