At the heart of this experience is the Butler ethos—high-touch, personalized, intuitive, and discreet—adapted to a private residential environment. The Butler–Bell Attendant serves as a luxury service ambassador for the residential community, providing seamless, anticipatory, and personalized services to all owners and residents. Unlike a hotel environment, this role operates on a shared-service model, where Butler–Bell Attendants collectively support the entire residential community rather than being assigned to individual residents. This position combines the heritage and personalization of the St. Regis Butler program with the operational support and presence of a Bell Attendant, ensuring an elevated residential experience while respecting privacy, continuity, and long-term relationships. Resident experience & personalized service Deliver bespoke, high-touch services to residents and their guests, aligned with St. Regis Butler service standards and adapted to a residential setting. Build long-term rapport with owners and residents, proactively anticipating preferences and service needs over time. Support residents during arrivals, departures, extended stays, and special requests, ensuring consistency and discretion. Arrival, departure & bell services Greet and escort residents and their guests upon arrival and departure. Assist with luggage handling, storage, and transportation to and from residences or designated service areas. Assist residents and visitors entering and leaving the property, including vehicle assistance and coordination with valet or parking services. Manage the receipt, handling, tracking, and in-residence delivery of packages, parcels, groceries, and food deliveries for residents, providing a seamless and discreet residential service experience. Explain residence features, amenities, and services when required, particularly for new owners or guests. Residential operations & coordination Operate within a shared Butler–Bell service structure, ensuring equitable and consistent service delivery to all residents. Coordinate daily service activities among the Butler–Bell team to maintain coverage and service continuity. Verify that supporting departments are informed, aligned, and equipped to fulfil resident requests efficiently. Maintain impeccable grooming, uniform standards, and professional communication. Create and contribute to a safe working environment by following all company policies and reporting incidents or unsafe conditions promptly. Maintain awareness of unauthorized or undesirable persons within the residential property. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism in all resident interactions. Physical & operational requirements Remain active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, and moving across the property. Perform hands-on tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items up to 50 lbs independently and heavier items with assistance. Navigate stairs, ramps, uneven or slippery surfaces as required. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management in support of residential operations. Residential-specific responsibilities Work hand in hand with the appointed Community Management Company (Strata) to ensure aligned and efficient community operations. Operate in compliance with community rules, by-laws, and governance structures applicable to residential properties. Deliver services with a resident-first mindset, focused on long-term relationships rather than transient guest experiences. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion, recognizing the private nature of residential living. Adapt service delivery and operational decision-making to the specific needs of a residential environment, distinct from hotel operations. Preferred qualifications Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Previous experience in luxury hospitality, branded residences, private clubs, or high-end service environments. Strong interpersonal skills with a natural passion for personalized service. Required qualifications Minimum of 6 months of related work experience in hospitality or service-oriented roles.
