Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced radiologist to join a reputed healthcare facility in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, providing accurate and timely reports, collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams, and delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, and fluoroscopy, as per hospital facilities.
Perform and supervise ultrasound examinations and image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures where applicable.
Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reports.
Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings and appropriate diagnostic pathways.
Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and clinical case discussions.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and imaging documentation.
Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, residents, and radiographers when required.
Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing medical education (CME).
Participate in on-call duties and emergency reporting as per hospital requirements.
Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and Oman Ministry of Health regulations.
