QualificationsMedical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent). Recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery. Valid eligibility for Consultant Neurosurgeon classification under UAE licensing requirements. Relevant post-specialization/consultant-level clinical experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive neurosurgical care, performing complex surgical procedures, and managing patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological and neurosurgical disorders. Perform complex neurosurgical procedures, including cranial and spinal surgeries. Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical or non-surgical treatment plans. Manage emergency neurosurgical cases and provide timely interventions. Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists. Review and interpret relevant diagnostic imaging and investigations. Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives. Support teaching, training, and mentoring of junior medical staff where required.
