Description

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers in the development of hardware products. You will be assigned an insightful mentor, who will guide you through your project and work term for a successful project experience. As an Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of mechanical design in the product development cycle, potentially including conceptual design, prototyping, development, testing, product packaging design and manufacturing production.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Learn professional techniques and perform tasks for one or more of these areas: mechanical design and analysis, heat transfer, shock and vibration effects on product packaging, or verification and validation of products.

  • Work and interact with a wide variety of NI staff in R&D hardware and software organizations

  • Perform research as required to complete your projects

  • Diagnose and debug technical challenges

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar STEM related field
