Requirements
High School/Technical Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Water Engineering or related discipline. Experience in water pumping stations, wells, water transmission or utility operations. Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves and pipelines. Experience with SCADA, PLC, telemetry and industrial control systems. Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills. Previous team supervision/lead operator experience preferred.
Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Pumping Station Operator to supervise and support the safe and reliable operation of water pumping stations, wells and associated equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and supervise pumping stations, wells, pumps, motors, valves and control systems.Monitor operating parameters through SCADA, instrumentation and control systems.Lead equipment start-up, shutdown, switching and operational changeovers.Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment abnormalities.Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with maintenance teams.Troubleshoot operational faults and support emergency response.Monitor alarms, operational logs and shift reports.Supervise and provide technical guidance to Operators.Ensure compliance with operational and HSE procedures.RequirementsHigh School/Technical Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Water Engineering or related discipline.
