Job description
Protects company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensures uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Supports all co-workers and treats them with dignity and respect.
Inspects linen and terry for damage and removes them from circulation as necessary.
Separates soiled articles (e.g., linen, terry, and clothing) based on color, fabric, and cleaning technique requirements prior to washing or dry cleaning.
Maintains accurate records of items washed, number of loads, and poundage of dry cleaning and laundry.
Transports cart of washed articles to dryers and places them in dryers according to load size.
Anticipates that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may impact the environment. Participates in activities organized to protect biological diversity and shares individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary trainings.
Ensures minimum consumption of currently used items and equipment (paper, printed materials, etc.).
Implements responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects on the environment.
Handles chemicals safely by carrying, storing, and using them in accordance with laws, controlling and reducing chemical contamination.
Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.
Performs all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.
