Job Description: IT Business Analyst – AutomotivePosition InformationTitle: IT Business Analyst – AutomotiveDepartment: Digital & TechnologyLocation: DubaiReporting To: Director of Digital & Technology – Automotive & LogisticsExperience: Minimum 7 years in an automotive dealership IT / BA role, withmandatory hands-on After-Sales (Service & Spare Parts) system experienceLanguages: English required; Arabic advantageousRole PurposeThe IT Business Analyst (Automotive) acts as the bridge between automotive operations andtechnology delivery.This role ensures that dealership business processes— across Service, Spare Parts andOperations—are clearly defined, audit-ready, and aligned with industry best practices, whilebeing scalable across current and future markets.The role plays a critical part in the ERPNext/DMS implementation, and guiding the businesstoward standardized, efficient, and technology-enabled dealership operations.Key Responsibilities1 - Business Requirements & Process ExcellenceLead the end-to-end definition, documentation, and validation of businessrequirements for ERPNext/DMS and future digital initiatives.Map and optimize end-to-end dealership processes with a primary focus onAfter-Sales (Service, Workshop & Spare Parts).Conduct current vs future state and gap analyses to drive process improvement.Identify inefficiencies and propose pragmatic, industry-aligned improvements.2 - Automotive Domain LeadershipAct as Subject Matter Expert for automotive dealership operations.Ensure ERP and DMS system designs reflect real-world dealership practices, nottheoretical workflows.Challenge business assumptions and requirements where misaligned with bestpractices or scalability.• Actively guide ERPNext/DMS configuration decisions based on dealership standards.3 - Audit, Governance & ComplianceEnsure business processes and system requirements are fully documented andaudit-ready.Support Internal Audit reviews and remediation efforts.Embed governance, control, and traceability into business and system processes.4 - IT–Business EngagementServe as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT teams.Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications.Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and validation meetings.Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on process and system design.5 - Solution Delivery SupportWork closely with ERPNext/DMS implementation and integration partners.Maintain functional design documents, process maps, and specifications.Coordinate with development, integration, and testing teams to ensure requirementsare delivered as intended.6 - Continuous Improvement & Digital RoadmapIdentify opportunities for automation, standardization, and digital enablement.Promote consistent processes across branches and markets.Contribute to the automotive digital roadmap with a strong process and governancelens.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 7 years as an IT Business Analyst within an automotive dealershipenvironment.Mandatory: Direct, hands-on experience in After-Sales (Service, Workshop & SpareParts) operations, including process design and systems support for warranty, jobcards, technician scheduling, parts inventory, and customer service workflows.
