Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, with a minimum of 10 years in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality. Strong experience in Data Governance frameworks, Data Quality, Data Ownership & Stewardship, Metadata, and Data Lineage is essential. A solid understanding of banking data and regulatory requirements, particularly CBUAE regulations (DMF, DQR), is required. Experience defining governance operating models, policies, standards, and KPIs, along with strong stakeholder management skills and proven experience leading such initiatives in large enterprises or banks, are key. Experience with Informatica/IDMC governance platforms, KYC, Credit, Risk, Regulatory or Customer data, CBUAE CPR, and PDPL are desirable. Exposure to AI Governance/Responsible AI and experience in GCC/Middle East banking are also considered a plus.
Description
Lead the Data Governance and Data Quality initiative, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to establish governance frameworks, data ownership, quality standards, and remediation processes.
