Through innovative developments, exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to sustainability, we are shaping places where people can live, work and thrive.Joining Arada means becoming part of a collaborative, ambitious and forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering excellence across every aspect of our business.Role PurposeThe Heavy Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting employees, staff, and authorized passengers to and from designated locations while maintaining the assigned vehicle in good operating condition and complying with UAE traffic laws and company safety procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company heavy buses for employee and staff transportation.Transport passengers according to assigned routes and schedules.Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees at designated locations.Follow all UAE traffic laws, RTA regulations, and company transportation policies.Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.Check brakes, tires, lights, oil, coolant, and other essential vehicle systems before operating the vehicle.Report any vehicle defects, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements immediately.Maintain cleanliness and general condition of the assigned bus.Ensure passenger safety during boarding, travel, and drop-off.Follow approved routes and transportation schedules.Maintain accurate records such as trip sheets, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle inspection reports.Coordinate with the Transport Supervisor regarding route changes, delays, breakdowns, or other operational issues.Assist passengers when required, particularly during boarding and alighting.Ensure the bus is parked safely at the designated location after each trip.Handle emergency situations calmly and follow company procedures.Ensure no unauthorized passengers or materials are transported in the vehicle.Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct while dealing with employees and passengers.RequirementsValid UAE Heavy Bus Driving Licence (Category 6 or equivalent).Minimum 3 years of heavy bus driving experience, preferably in the UAE.Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.Experience in employee/staff transportation is preferred.Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and routine maintenance.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Physically fit and capable of working flexible hours and shifts.Clean and safe driving record.Skills & CompetenciesSafe and defensive drivingKnowledge of UAE traffic regulationsRoute planning and navigationVehicle inspection and basic troubleshootingTime management and punctualityResponsibility and reliabilityGood communication skillsProfessional attitudeSafety awarenessWorking ConditionsWillingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.May be required to work extended hours depending on operational requirements.Must comply with all company HSE and transportation policies.Using GenAI in Your Application ProcessTo support a fair and consistent experience for all candidates, we ask that assessments and interviews are completed independently and without assistance from generative AI tools.
