Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering "Civil".• Minimum of 3 -5 years of working experience in Technical Office.• Competent user of Tekla Structures, AutoCAD & Primavera/ Microsoft project.• Using SAP2000 structural analysis and design will be an advantage.• Experience in steel structures is a must.• Proven experience with technical drawings and details.• Technical Office related software skills are required.• Ability to work and perform under pressure.• Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other team members.• Organized, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence.
Description
Study and review preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to the project.• Prepare and issue necessary Assembly and shop drawings for all allocated tasks. • Make calculations about, loads and stresses. • Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately. • Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction. • Prepares design specifications. • Develops studies and calculation notes for steel structures and structural steel, crane girders . • Prepare time schedule for executed work versus planned.• Preparation of follow-up report and its conformity with the time schedule.• Check technical details and drawings to ensure correct implementation in the field.• Review products (cranes specifications), analyze materials and determine appropriateness for application to projects.• Ensure that the fabrication workshop is supplied with all documentation and materials needed to carry out the work.• Ensure that the work is performed at the required quality standards.• Perform inspection and prepare documents for entire contract work projects.• Carry out any other duties as and when required in order to meet the needs of the business.
