How you will contribute Main responsibilities: Offer critical support to companies that are underperforming or experiencing an acute liquidity crisis Work directly with company management and help to stabilise financial and operational performance Work with Senior Directors and Managing Directors to deliver client projects through the management of multiple work streams Support business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates Examples of projects include: Financial and operational restructuring Balance sheet restructuring Cash and liquidity management and forecasting Options analysis and contingency planning Interim management roles Preparation and validation of business plans Organisational restructurings Profit improvement (sales improvement and cost reduction) Independent business reviews Qualifications 7+ years' experience working in restructuring, preferably in the Middle East and ideally including company side mandates across both financial and operational workstreams Ability to manage diverse and complex stakeholder groups Ability to implement change for clients and to deliver results across various aspects of their business Strong financial modelling skills, including building 13-week cash flow forecasts and integrated financial models A firm understanding of liquidity and working capital management, and of how performance improvement flows through to the P&L and balance sheet Able to build trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the Middle East lending community Ability to prepare client pitches and proposals to a high standard Proficient in the use of AI tools to support analysis, drafting and research Fluency in Arabic is desirable but not essential ACA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is desirable In addition to the skills and qualities detailed above, the desired candidate will also demonstrate the following attributes: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong facilitation skills, forging consensus around credible, executable solutions Excellent written and oral communications skills, impactful presenter An unbiased, fact-based approach to problem solving Guided by values and integrity, talks straight, builds confidence and leads by example Your journey at A&M We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person's unique professional and personal development.
