Overview
The Thru Tubing Field Specialist II is responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful execution of complex thru-tubing well intervention operations in onshore and offshore environments. The role provides technical leadership in operational planning, tool selection, BHA design, and well intervention execution while ensuring compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and QHSE policies. As the primary field representative, the specialist supports operational excellence, customer engagement, and the development of junior personnel.
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute complex thru-tubing operations in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Provide technical leadership on tool selection, BHA design, hydraulic simulations, and operational planning.
- Lead field crews during mobilization, rig-up, job execution, troubleshooting, and demobilization activities.
- Review job programs, risk assessments, and equipment readiness before operations.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement corrective actions to minimize non-productive time.
- Prepare accurate operational reports, service documentation, and post-job summaries.
- Serve as the primary customer contact and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior personnel to enhance technical competency and operational performance.
- Ensure efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintain compliance with QHSE standards, company policies, and industry regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.
