Purpose of the PositionReporting hierarchically to the General ManagementMust ensure that all available means are implemented to obtain compliance with the commitments made to customers, in terms of quality, quantity and deadlinesAs a field man, assists, manages and supervises into the plant with a close contact of it staffHas ultimate responsibility for the result, that is to say the shipment of customer orders planned on a daily basis according to the needs of the sales departmentRole is that of a facilitator, at the center of the company's various departmentsIs the relay for General Management on the siteResponsible for monitoring the maintenance and compliance of the site as well as its production equipmentAlso responsible for the safety of personnel working on siteSupervision and Management of Production TeamsManages and leads the staff on a daily basis in conjunction with the Administrative Department: Entries/Exits, absences, leave planning, working hour records for payrollOrganizes and controls the training of staff, either newly hired or planned as part of the multi-skilling program in order to increase the flexibility of adaptation to the variable load over timeManages and anticipates staffing needs in relation with General ManagementConstantly ensures compliance with safety rules for personnel and production equipmentMonitors the social climate and identifies potential conflict zonesOrganization and Management of ProductionPlans production in accordance with the specifications (deadlines, quantities, etc.)Ensures the smooth running of the entire manufacturing chain: scheduling, spooling, slitting, cutting, shipping, quality; decides on temporary staff assignments based on these chargesIdentifies malfunctions and production unforeseen events and provides solutionsEnsures compliance with the instructions transmitted in the workshop, the proper execution of orders in accordance with schedules and compliance with manufacturing timesAssisting department managers, controls the rigorous storage of the products to be transformed and the cleanliness of the premises; also including perfect stock management, storage and retrieval of jumbos, rolls, or scrapsImplements defined solutions in terms of production organization: new processes, new functional organization, etc.Monitors and ensures curative and preventive maintenance of the site's installations with the support of the mother company, our own maintenance technician and external subcontractorsManagement of Production Optimization PlansEnsures the best possible use of the production means made available in order to optimize delivery times and production while minimizing film scrapsProposes any improvement to optimize the means of production in terms of machines, technology, production flows and people, to aim for better flexibility, responsiveness, while reducing non-quality and respecting deadlines requested by the customerVerifies that the investments made and the projects deployed are well integrated within the site: efficient use by the teams, information correctly distributed internally, etc.Reporting to the ManagementAlerts the General Management of any event or conflict within the teams (strike, accidents, serious breakdown, etc.)Provides reporting on production performancePrepares a monthly report and explains the results to General ManagementMust be able to travel in Africa to the production plant located in Africa or others
