Requires a recognized Pharm D degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice, OR a Master of Clinical Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy with a minimum of 7 years of clinical pharmacy experience and Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). Must hold an SCFHS license and Board Certification in Pharmacy Specialties (BCPS). Fluency in English is required.

Pharmacy specialist is expected to develop and implement individualized therapeutic regimens based on pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles to achieve cost.-effective and desired patient outcomes, and participate in general patient care rounds with medical staff to optimize pharmacotherapeutic outcomes.
