Requirements
Qualified E&I technician with a recognised trade certificate and Queensland Electrical trade licence; dual trade qualification in electrical/instrumentation with either Cert III in Instrument and Control or Cert IV in Electrical – Instrumentation; Cert IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) with expiry after mid-August 2026; current LVR/CPR; at least 5 years of maintenance experience in heavy industry; shutdown/T&I experience preferred; advantageous to have Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform tickets; must pass Wood medical after delivering required certificates and safety tickets and a driver’s licence.
Description

Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking experienced E&I Technicians for the upcoming mid-year FCCU shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing at the beginning of June for approximately 8 weeks.

This short-term role offers strong EBA benefits and rates, all while allowing you to remain based at home. Penalty rates apply. 

As this is a Brisbane-based role, local applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skillset and experience.

Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.
