Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering with 15-20 years of power generation commissioning experience, including at least two large CCGT plants. Must have full commissioning lifecycle experience and strong knowledge of IPP projects, EPC/OEM interfaces, lender/Owner requirements, GT, HRSG, ST, BOP, grid synchronization, and performance testing. Saudi Arabia/Middle East experience is strongly preferred, and PMP certification is an advantage.
Description
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning and start-up activities for a large-scale Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power project in Saudi Arabia.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commissioning strategy, planning, execution, and handover from Mechanical Completion through ICOD/PCOD.Manage pre-commissioning, first fire, synchronization, combined-cycle operation, performance and reliability testing.Lead commissioning teams and coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, Owner's Engineer, Lenders Technical Advisor, and Owner/Operations teams.Manage interfaces covering grid, fuel gas, water, electrical systems, GT, HRSG, ST, and BOP.Oversee MC, TOP/ECC, system turnover, punch-list closure, commissioning documentation, and operational handover.Ensure strict compliance with HSE, contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.Lead performance testing and support achievement of contractual plant guarantees and commercial operation milestones.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Power Engineering, or related discipline.15–20+ years of power generation commissioning experience.Proven experience commissioning at least two large CCGT plantsFull commissioning lifecycle experience: first fire, synchronization, combined cycle, performance and reliability testing.Strong experience with IPP projects, EPC/OEM interfaces, and lender/Owner requirements.Strong knowledge of GT, HRSG, ST, BOP, grid synchronization, and performance testing.Saudi Arabia / Middle East experience strongly preferred.PMP certification is an advantage.This is a senior leadership role requiring proven delivery of large-scale CCGT projects from construction completion through commercial operation.
