University degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Finance, and/or Hospitality/Tourism Management. Professional certifications are an advantage (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent). Minimum 2 years experience as Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager in a larger operation. Pre-opening hotel experience preferred, optional. Strong problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills. Good commercial awareness and vendor coordination skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Organization- Hyatt Place Al UlaSummaryWe are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt's expansion across the region and will feature 214 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.Your RoleAs the Purchasing Manager, you will support the successful pre-opening operations of Hyatt Place AlUla, ensuring the efficient management of the Purchasing function in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead pre-opening planning, procurement setup, and sourcing strategies, including sustainable and responsible sourcing practicesDrive vendor development and onboarding, ensuring suppliers meet quality, ethical, and sustainability standards, and administer contracted servicesManage all purchasing activities in strict accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standardsEnsure the timely and efficient availability of materials to support pre-opening timelines and ongoing operationsMaintain strong purchasing controls, documentation, and compliance standards, including audit readinessSupport cost control, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency, balancing commercial objectives with sustainability goalsCollaborate closely with all departments to meet business, operational, and opening requirements, promoting environmentally responsible procurement decisions QualificationsQualifications & Experience University degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Finance, and /or Hospitality/Tourism Management Professional certifications are an advantage (e.g., CIPS – Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply , CPSM, or equivalent) Minimum 2 years experience as Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager in a larger operation Pre-opening hotel experience preferred, optional.
