Requirements

Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work in challenging environmental conditions and flexible shifts. Experience with ERP systems like SAP is preferred.

Job Descriptionlead and supervise production team members during the shift to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.Oversee all aspects of dried onion processing including cleaning, slicing, drying, sorting, and packaging.Ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000) and workplace safety regulations.Monitor machine operation and drying parameters to maintain consistent product quality and minimize waste.Coordinate raw material flow and finished product handling to support smooth production.Complete and maintain accurate shift reports, downtime logs, and production records.Perform quality checks and take corrective action when necessary to prevent defects or contamination.Train and coach production operators on SOPs, safety protocols, and best practices.Communicate shift performance, issues, and improvement opportunities to management.Assist with audits, inspections, and continuous improvement projects.
