Build a career where precision and speed keep global markets moving. In this role, you will help ensure exchange-traded derivatives clear accurately and on time for internal and external clients. You will partner with stakeholders across operations and the business to resolve breaks, strengthen controls, and improve processes. As a Clearing Operations Analyst in Listed Derivatives Operations, you will support the end-to-end clearing and post-trade lifecycle for exchange-traded futures and options. You will help ensure timely reconciliations, investigate trade and position breaks, and maintain strong operational controls while meeting exchange and local regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to process improvements that strengthen accuracy, resilience, and client experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Perform daily clearing activities for exchange-traded futures and options in line with exchange and local regulatory requirements
  • Reconcile positions, cash, and related records between exchanges, internal books and records, and downstream partners
  • Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade and position breaks by the next business day, following documented procedures
  • Maintain accurate static and transactional data needed to support clearing and settlement processing
  • Review production outputs and key controls to identify exceptions, trends, and potential root causes
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and reduce recurring breaks through sustainable fixes
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of efficiency and automation initiatives where appropriate
  • Maintain clear documentation for procedures, control checks, and escalations to support consistent execution

     

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3 years of experience in market operations, including clearing, middle office, reconciliations, and/or settlement support
  • Working knowledge of exchange-traded futures and options processes and terminology
  • Ability to perform accurate, deadline-driven work in a high-volume environment
  • Demonstrated experience investigating exceptions and applying structured problem-solving to reach resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear updates, escalation, and stakeholder coordination
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support market and operational coverage requirements
  • Commitment to controls, risk awareness, and continuous process improvement

     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience supporting Asia market coverage and related post-trade timelines and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros and basic automation
  • Working knowledge of additional asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities) as it relates to operational support.
  • Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.

  • Work Schedule: 9AM/11AM-6PM/8PM MNL Time (this may be variable depending on business need)
