Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in community work, social work, worker engagement, rural development, child protection, NGO programming, or field-based social sustainability work. Experience with rural communities, agricultural workers, schools, vulnerable households, and handling sensitive social issues is preferred. Must be based or willing to relocate to Banisuef and willing to travel extensively. Strong observation, reporting, problem-solving, and data collection skills are essential.

About the RoleAs a Sustainability Social Worker, you will maintain a strong field presence and engage directly with farmers, workers, schools, and local communities to support responsible sourcing and social sustainability initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Support child labour monitoring, prevention, and remediation activities.Raise awareness of Hello ofi and available grievance mechanisms within communities.Monitor labour compliance requirements, including age verification procedures.Conduct field visits and engage key stakeholders across farming communities.Collect household and beneficiary data to support program implementation and reporting.Identify and escalate social risks, worker welfare concerns, child labour cases, and non-compliance findings through established channels.Foster trust and collaboration with farmers, workers, schools, and community members.What We're Looking For:Employee must be based or willing to realocate to Banisuef Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in community work, social work, worker engagement, rural development, child protection, NGO programming or field-based social sustainability work.Experience working with rural communities, agricultural workers, schools, vulnerable households, women, seasonal workers or factory/processing workers.Experience handling sensitive social issues.Ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong observation, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.Willingness to travel extensively within Beni Suef and surrounding communities.Good understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and child protection principles.Practical field-monitoring, documentation and reporting skills & ability to collect accurate data and maintain organized records.Sufficient English for basic reporting, email communication and use of standard templates.
