Role Overview The Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Finance & Insurance function within the assigned business area. The role is accountable for driving finance, insurance and ancillary product performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing team capability and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Finance & Insurance Manager works closely with Sales leadership, banking partners, insurance providers and internal stakeholders to maximise profitability, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. Functional Roles and Responsibilities Commercial Performance Lead the Finance & Insurance team to achieve agreed finance, insurance and ancillary product penetration targets. Drive revenue growth through effective management of finance, insurance and value-added product sales. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and customer conversion. Develop and implement action plans to improve underperforming locations, individuals or products. Support the introduction and rollout of new products, initiatives and business opportunities. Leadership & Team Management Recruit, develop and retain high-performing Finance & Insurance Advisors. Provide coaching, mentoring and ongoing development to team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and establish individual development plans. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism and customer focus. Support succession planning and talent development within the department. Sales & Customer Experience Work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Advisors to ensure Finance & Insurance products are integrated into the customer journey. Support customers with complex finance and insurance requirements where required. Ensure customers receive clear, transparent and professional advice throughout the purchasing process. Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and customer retention. Banking & Insurance Partner Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking, insurance and ancillary product partners. Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities to improve service levels and commercial returns. Support negotiations and implementation of commercial agreements where required. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between partners and operational teams. Compliance & Governance Ensure full compliance with company policies, banking requirements, insurance regulations and applicable UAE legislation. Maintain high standards of documentation, process adherence and audit readiness. Monitor regulatory developments and implement required changes within the business. Ensure all team members operate in accordance with approved sales and compliance processes. Operational Management Monitor daily operational performance and resolve issues impacting customer experience or business performance. Ensure accurate reporting and timely submission of business information. Support process improvement initiatives and implementation of new systems and technologies. Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Operations and other business functions. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, insurance or related discipline preferred. Professional qualifications in finance, insurance or management would be advantageous. Minimum 5 years' experience within automotive finance & insurance. Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership or management capacity. Proven track record of achieving finance, insurance and ancillary product targets. Experience managing teams across multiple locations is desirable. Strong understanding of banking products, motor insurance products and ancillary product offerings. Experience working within a multi-franchise automotive environment preferred. UAE automotive industry experience essential. Knowledge & Skills Strong leadership and people management skills. Commercially focused with a strong understanding of profit drivers. Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and reporting capability. Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
