The Technical Project Manager will provide day-to-day technical support for building projects in the solar energy space, coordinating with the Technical Senior Project Manager and Program Manager to ensure technical and quality compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing technical matters of building projects, supporting project onboarding, evaluating bids, finalizing DFS/ESPC documentation, and supporting O&M and M&V services. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 5-6 years of relevant Solar Energy experience in the Middle East, and strong communication and analytical skills. CEM/CEA certification is required, with CMVP as a plus. English proficiency is mandatory, Arabic is a plus.

Main Responsibilities:
Support project development in assessing feasibility of projects, site visits, and technical review of projects.
Support in the technical on boarding of projects
Support the technical consultant in the technical evaluation of bids throughout bid award.
Support in finalizing the DFS and ESPC documentation.
Support in reviewing project design, installation and commissioning.
Support in finalizing documentation for project completion.
Support O&M and M&V services provided.
Liaise with the Project Management department and Entity to resolve any issues.
Project support:
Support project development in assessing feasibility of projects, site visits, and technical review of projects.

Retrofit implementation support:
Support in reviewing project design, installation and commissioning.

Post-retrofit support

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with emerging solar technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement industry’s best practices for design and project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
Relevant proven projects track record and history
CEM /CEA certification is required; CMVP certification is a plus
Experience & Skills:
5-6 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in the Solar Energy industry in the Middle East.
Strong Technical knowledge relating to building retrofits and savings estimation.
Language: Professional proficiency in English required, and fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Interpersonal: Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Analytical: Good Technical knowledge relating to solar system.
