Requirements
The Senior Data Hall Designer will be responsible for the planning, design, and optimization of data center white space, including rack layout, hot/cold containment, network infrastructure, power distribution, and cable pathways. This role requires collaboration with colocation providers, developers, and internal multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into executable designs. Key responsibilities include maintaining documentation, supporting design standards development, and providing engineering support during operations and incident investigations.
Description
Contributes to the planning, design, and optimization of data center white space, including rack layout, hot/cold containment, network infrastructure, branch circuit distribution, power requirements, cable pathway, and projected expansion phases. Collaborates with colocation providers, developers, and multidisciplinary internal teams (e.g., mechanical, plumbing, construction operations) to assist in translating requirements from concept into robust, executable white space designs.
