Requirements
Requires 2-3 years of experience in transport operations, fleet monitoring, logistics coordination, journey management, dispatch, or control room operations. Must have hands-on experience with GPS/vehicle tracking, journey planning, ETA/ETD monitoring, route planning, and stoppage/deviation monitoring. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Maps is essential. Experience with Fleet Management Systems, Telematics, GPS platforms, TMS, Geofencing, or Power BI is advantageous.

Job PurposeThe Journey Management Executive will monitor and coordinate the movement of company vehicles and drivers, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely journeys. The role will track vehicles, monitor ETA/ETD, identify delays or route deviations, and coordinate with drivers and operations teams to resolve issues.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor vehicles and drivers through GPS/fleet management systems.Prepare and manage daily journey plans, including routes, driver/vehicle allocation, ETA and ETD.Track journey progress and identify delays, prolonged stoppages, route deviations, and other exceptions.Coordinate with drivers and operations teams to ensure timely and safe journey completion.Monitor and update ETA/ETD based on traffic, road conditions, stoppages, and operational delays.Support route planning and maintain approved routes using GPS and digital mapping tools.Maintain accurate journey, exception, deviation, and stoppage records.Prepare daily/periodic journey management and fleet monitoring reports.Escalate critical delays, incidents, breakdowns, route deviations, and driver non-compliance.Coordinate closely with Transport, Fleet, Dispatch, Workshop, Warehouse, Security, and Customer Service teams.Minimum Requirements2–3 years of experience in transport operations, fleet monitoring, logistics coordination, journey management, dispatch, or control room operations.Hands-on experience with GPS/vehicle tracking, journey planning, ETA/ETD monitoring, route planning, and stoppage/deviation monitoring.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Maps or similar mapping tools.Experience with Fleet Management Systems, Telematics, GPS platforms, TMS, Geofencing, or Power BI is an advantage.Experience with heavy trucks/trailers, port, terminal, or industrial-area transportation is preferred.Strong geographical awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to monitor multiple vehicles simultaneously.Strong communication, coordination, decision-making, and follow-up skills.Ability to work under pressure with a strong safety-focused mindset.
