Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of QA/QC experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects, including at least 5 years in a QA/QC Lead role. Must possess mandatory certifications such as CSWIP 3.2.1/3.2.2, ASNT/PCN Level II in relevant NDT methods, and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification. Experience in welding inspection, fabrication, piping, pressure vessels, and mechanical quality control is essential, along with strong knowledge of QMS and EPC quality processes.

Position: Lead Quality EngineerLocation: Ras Laffan, QatarIndustry: EPC / Oil & Gas (Onshore & Offshore)Skills & Knowledge:Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and EPC quality processes.Proven experience in QA/QC management for Oil & Gas, Offshore, Onshore, LNG, and Petrochemical projects.Expertise in international codes and standards including ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, and NACE.Experience in welding inspection, NDT, fabrication, piping, pressure vessels, and mechanical quality control.Ability to develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary QA/QC teams and coordinating with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors.Experienced in conducting quality audits, managing NCRs/CAPAs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.QualificationsBachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 12 years of QA/QC experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects.Proven experience in major Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas projects.Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA/QC Lead role.Mandatory CertificationsCSWIP 3.2.1 / 3.2.2 – Senior Welding Inspector (Mandatory)ASNT/PCN Level II in: (RT) (UT) (MT/MPI), (PT)ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification
