Requirements
Requires 5-9 years of experience in contracts administration, preferably in construction, consulting, or power plant projects. Must have a BSc. in Engineering (Construction Management, Civil/Mech./Electrical/Arch) and proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. Strong understanding of contract drafting, claims management (EOT, cost claims), variations, risk allocation, dispute resolution, and FIDIC contracts is essential.

Job Purpose:Administer and monitor project contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, manage claims and variations, support negotiations, and assist project teams in mitigating contractual risks. Safeguard organizational interests, enhance operational and financial performance, ensure amicable contract close-out, and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, project partners, subcontractors, and clients.Key Accountabilities:Administer on-going contracts for assigned packages and review compliance with contractual terms.Maintain records of all contractual correspondence, notices, and reports, and establish control and monitoring of contractual documentation.Draft and review contractual letters to clients, partners, and subcontractors, and ensure timely submission of notices and reports.Identify and analyze claim and variation potential, including preparation of supporting documentation.Prepare valuation assessments and time impact analyses for claims and variations and support related negotiations.Identify and assess contractual risks, propose and implement mitigation strategies, and monitor and update the risk register.Review subcontractor and supplier payment applications and monitor the client billing process for contractual compliance.Identify and recommend contractual deductions and adjustments and provide contractual advice to project team members.Participate in meetings and negotiations and support project management in safeguarding contractual interests.Implement contract close-out plans, ensure discharge of liabilities as due, and prepare monthly progress reports covering claims, variations, invoices, and correspondence.Job Requirements:Years of experience: 5- 9 yearsAcademic Qualifications: BSc.
