Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design activities and act as the Owner's Representative between the Contractor and Consultant, ensuring design integrity, technical compliance, and smooth coordination across all project stages.Key Responsibilities:Lead electrical design for projects covering Low Voltage (LV), Medium Voltage (MV), Light Current, and Low Current systems.Act as the Owner's Representative, coordinating and technically aligning between contractors and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.Review, approve, and validate design drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and calculations.Perform short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies using SKM / ETAP.Prepare and review fire alarm layouts, light current systems, and conduct code compliance and hazardous area classification studies.Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.Conduct site inspections and technical meetings to ensure execution aligns with approved designs.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.Prepare project documentation including technical reports, schedules, and cost estimates.Identify design risks, resolve technical issues, and recommend value-engineering solutions.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.7–10 years of experience in electrical design engineering (consultancy or development background preferred).Strong hands-on experience in LV, MV, Light Current, and Low Current systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis tools.English level: FluentStrong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Details:location: El-Sheikh ZayedWorking hours: from 9:00AM to 5:00 PMDays off: Friday & SaturdayWhat we offer: - Attractive package. - A positive work environment that supports collaboration.
