Requirements
• 2+ years of hands-on, professional experience in Odoo development and customization, ideally including Odoo 17.• Strong proficiency in Python and solid understanding of the Odoo ORM.• Practical experience with XML, QWeb, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Odoo backend and frontend customization.• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases, including writing/optimizing SQL queries.• Strong understanding of Odoo's framework, workflows, module structure, and inheritance patterns.• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results under reasonable deadlines.• Experience with Odoo.sh and self-hosted/cloud deployments.• Ability to work On-Site.Skills:• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical challenges independently.• Ability to communicate technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.• Good time-management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
Description
• Design, develop, and customize Odoo 17+ modules and applications to meet internal business requirements.• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using Python, XML, and JavaScript for Odoo customization.• Customize existing Odoo applications (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Purchase, Assets, HR, Maintenance, etc.) and build new modules where needed.• Analyze internal requirements and propose effective, scalable technical solutions within Odoo.• Create and modify views, QWeb reports, dashboards, and workflows to optimize the user experience.• Develop integrations with third-party systems via APIs (REST, XML-RPC).• Conduct thorough testing of modules, identify bugs, and ensure the stability of deployed solutions.• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the system based on user feedback.• Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and management to ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions.• Maintain technical documentation for customizations and configurations to support consistent knowledge-sharing across teams.• Have experience for upgrading to newer versions above Odoo 17.• Ensure data security, access rights, and overall system integrity.
