Job summary
The quality data coordinator is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting quality-related data to support continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures data accuracy, maintains quality records, and provides insights to enhance product or service quality and compliance with standards.
Key responsibilities
Data management
Collect, validate, and maintain quality data from internal and external sources.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of quality data records.
Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and quality documentation systems.
Data analysis & reporting
Analyze trends related to defects, non-conformities, and performance indicators.
Prepare regular and ad hoc quality reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
Identify patterns and recommend improvement actions based on data findings.
Support quality processes
Assist in audits by providing required data and documentation.
Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor progress.
Support root cause analysis activities through data insights.
Documentation & compliance
Ensure all quality records comply with company policies and industry standards (ISO, etc.).
Maintain document control and version tracking systems.
Support internal and external regulatory compliance requirements.
Collaboration
Work closely with QA/QC teams, operations, and other departments.
Communicate findings and insights clearly to stakeholders.
Provide data support for quality improvement initiatives and projects.
Qualifications & skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, statistics, or related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, data analysis, or similar roles.
Experience in QA/QC environments (manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, etc.) is advantageous.
Technical skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
Experience creating and utilizing SharePoint platforms.
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
