Learning support assistant to support secondary
Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba Secondary is seeking to appoint a highly skilled learning support assistant.
You will join a dynamic and passionate team and will be responsible for providing an exceptional education to some of the most ambitious students in Dubai.
This role will involve working with students in small groups, one-to-one and in class, including:
Working in partnership with teachers in the planning of lessons including the adaptation of materials and direct support the student will need.
Producing resources and ensuring they are available and utilised.
Ensuring student safety when undertaking any physical activity, practical subjects and movement around the school building.
Supporting educational visits.
We are looking for someone who is:
Enthusiastic and can promote a love and passion of learning.
Excellent at communication.
Experienced in working with literacy intervention.
Able to quickly form positive working relationships with students and colleagues.
Willing to support the ethos of the school.
Requirements:
Holds a relevant bachelor’s degree or an EAL related qualification, such as a CELTA.
