Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering major. 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial operations. Minimum 3 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Excellence. Experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE, and cGMP requirements. Excellent analytical, project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Description
Role PurposeLead Operational Excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost through Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with cGMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead production and/or packaging teams to achieve production target.Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across production operations.Drive process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity improvement projects.Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs including OEE, throughput, cycle time, and equipment utilization.Identify process bottlenecks and implement sustainable improvement solutions.Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and problem-solving activities.Facilitate Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Visual Management.Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve operational performance.Support equipment commissioning, process validation, technology transfer, and CAPEX projects from an Operational Excellence perspective.Develop dashboards, monitor performance metrics, and report improvement progress.Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, Quality Systems, and Data Integrity requirements.Coach and develop manufacturing teams on Operational Excellence principles and continuous improvement methodologies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Pharmacy,Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering major.4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial operations.Minimum 3 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Excellence.Experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE, and cGMP requirements.Excellent analytical, project management, leadership, and communication skills.Core CompetenciesOperational ExcellenceLean ManufacturingContinuous ImprovementIndustrial EngineeringOEE & KPI ManagementProcess OptimizationRoot Cause Analysis & CAPALean Tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM)Project ManagementCross-functional CollaborationLeadership & Coaching
