Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Vascular Surgeon to join a leading children's healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide specialized surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired vascular disorders while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered treatment in a multidisciplinary pediatric environment.The ideal candidate will have expertise in complex pediatric vascular procedures and work collaboratively with pediatric subspecialties to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage congenital and acquired vascular conditions in pediatric patients.Perform pediatric vascular surgical procedures including vascular reconstructions, management of vascular malformations, aneurysms, and complex vascular access procedures.Evaluate and manage pediatric patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders.Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for pediatric vascular surgery cases.Collaborate closely with pediatric surgeons, interventional radiologists, cardiologists, intensivists, plastic surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Participate in emergency management of pediatric vascular trauma and acute vascular conditions.Develop individualized surgical and postoperative care plans for pediatric patients.Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, and postoperative care.Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and hospital policies.Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuing medical education programs.Ensure adherence to patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards.Qualifications & RequirementsMBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.Board Certification / Fellowship in Vascular Surgery with subspecialty experience in Paediatric Vascular Surgery.Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Vascular Surgery.Minimum 5–7 years of post-board consultant experience in pediatric vascular surgery within a tertiary care or academic hospital.Strong expertise in complex pediatric vascular and reconstructive procedures.Excellent surgical, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in managing vascular malformations and pediatric vascular anomalies.Exposure to hybrid vascular and endovascular pediatric procedures is an advantage.Academic and research experience preferred.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.BenefitsCompetitive tax-free salaryFamily benefitsHealth insuranceAnnual airfare allowancePaid annual leaveCME and professional development support
