The Painter reports to the Assistant Manager – MaintenanceAs a Painter, you will be responsible for the following duties:Provide guidance, training, and assistance to the painting team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and materialsEstimate, plan, and prioritize work requirements based on operational needsCarry out painting and polishing of furniture, wooden or gypsum panels, false ceilings, and decorative wooden doorsPerform repair and repainting of HOH metal doors and framesMaintain gold leaf and decorative works in the lobby and guest areasConduct inspections and carry out regular maintenance of public areasEnsure plant rooms, workshops, and related areas are kept clean and tidyObserve prescribed safety standards and help maintain safe working conditions for self and othersPerform related duties and special projects as assignedInteract with other departments to provide additional or specialized services for functions and eventsAdhere to Emirates Palace Employee Handbook, Mandarin Oriental policies and procedures, and all safety/security instructionsFollow supervisors instructions and complete tasks in line with job requirementsEnsure uniforms are clean and in good condition, maintaining a professional and tidy appearance at all timesAs a Painter, We Expect From YouPrevious experience in the same role in luxury property, resort experience is a plusExperience with different surfaces (wood, metal, gypsum, walls, ceilings)Knowledge of decorative painting, polishing, touch-up, and finishing techniquesTechnical certification or vocational training in painting, polishing, or finishing is an advantage Our commitment to you Learning & Development.
